What this page covers

At Mirage (miragemusic.co), privacy is a design input, not an afterthought. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, the limited ways we use it, and the controls available to you.

Your privacy controls

Depending on your location (for example, EEA/UK under GDPR), you may be able to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data in certain circumstances.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Port your data to another service where technically feasible.
  • Complain to a supervisory authority (for example, CNIL in France).

To use these controls, contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We may need to verify your identity to protect your account.

How we approach privacy

  • Transparency: clear explanations over fine print.
  • Data minimization: collect the least to deliver the feature.
  • Security: reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
  • Limited retention: keep data only as long as necessary or required by law.
  • Children’s protection: no knowing collection from under-13s.

Diagnostics & logs

Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, ISP, date and time of access, referring/exit pages, and click counts. These logs are not tied to identifiable profiles. We use them to:

  • Analyze reliability and performance trends.
  • Administer, secure and debug the website.
  • Understand aggregate usage, not individual browsing histories.

Cookies & similar tech

Cookies help remember preferences and measure how pages perform so we can improve the experience. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may work differently without them.

Tip: Most browsers let you clear cookies per-site and use strict tracking prevention modes.

Third-party services

This policy doesn’t cover third-party sites or services (for example, analytics providers, embedded media, ad networks). Their privacy practices are described in their own policies, including ways to opt out. You can also control many third-party cookies in your browser.

Kids & age limits

We encourage parents and guardians to guide children’s online activity. Mirage does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will work to remove it.

Where this applies

This Privacy Policy applies to information shared with and/or collected through our website. It does not cover data gathered offline or through other channels.
